Overview
Salary and Benefits:
Our salary and benefits package is unequalled in North East China. When combined with
Daqing’s low living costs our teacher’s standard of living and ability to save money is excellent. (Considerably better than working on a higher salary in Beijing, Shanghai or a southern city).
Salary of 13000RMB with no Chinese income tax per month.
75 teaching hours per month and 4 office hours per week.
24,000RMB yearly bonus paid on completion of contract.
Free private modern apartment in a new building.
Three Joy holidays during the year: Spring Festival, Summer Vacation and October Holiday; 42 days of holiday (approximately) with all holidays paid except summer vacation. These holidays provide excellent opportunities for travel, which most private schools do not offer.
Voluntary paid overtime.
Free Chinese lessons.
Career Development:
Due to our ongoing expansion opportunities exist for high performing teachers to be trained to take on additional responsibilities such as; training, curriculum development and management. Senior teachers from Joy Heilongjiang have gone on to take up management positions in Joy branches throughout China.
We are a private school. We are not recruiters or an agency and we do not send teachers out to work at public schools or other private schools. Teachers who are hired work exclusively at our Joy Children’s Language School campuses.

About Joy:
Joy School was founded in Taiwan over 36 years ago and now has over 100,000 students across mainland China and Taiwan. All Joy schools teach a standard curriculum using Joy’s own system of books and learning tools. The unique style of learning and teaching is based on the idea and motto that ‘Learning is Fun’.
Joy Daqing is a very successful franchise with 10 foreign teachers and almost 3000 stu-dents. We have 6 locations in the city and we are expanding all the time. All 6 branches are run as one collective unit with a central office which manages all branches.
Joy is a private school, so our students are highly motivated to improve their English above the standard that regular public schools can offer. Our students range from 4-14 years old. Our class sizes are small 15-20 students maximum, are high energy and always involve fun practice activities and games. All foreign teachers work with a Chinese co teacher who re-mains in the class with you at all times.
