Overview

Location 
: Tokyo, JAPAN. The school is in a very desirable location 25 minutes by train from the heart of downtown Tokyo.

Terms of Employment 
: Working time is 35 hours per week, including teaching 27 classes (50 minutes per class). 
: Full-time employee 
: One-year contract starting August 01, 2019 and ending July 31, 2020.

Vacation 
: The winter vacation schedule is as follows: twelve days (December 23 
to January 03) are days off. In those twelve days, December 23 to 
December 29 (five days) are counted as set vacation days off. 
December 30 to January 03 the school is closed. January 04, 05 may be taken as 
vacation days.

Necessary Requirements 
: Four-year college degree required 
: Native speaker of English.

Preferred Requirements 
: Preferred age of 23 to 50. 
: Experience with teaching English to foreigners and teaching children. 
: Experience with sports, singing, music, art, design and dance. 
: Enjoys teaching a wide range of students from preschool to adults. 
: Is able to plan enjoyable, quality lessons for a variety of class types.

We have many extracurricular activities, and give teachers the opportunity to learn "Awa-Odori" a popular Japanese traditional dance which we perform locally.
