Overview
CareerGo is currently seeking skilled young English teachers for placements in China. CareerGo is an ESL teaching consultancy company that connects English teachers with schools all throughout China.
We are currently seeking teachers for placements in the following cities/regions: BEIJING, SHANGHAI, HARBIN (Heilongjiang Province), XIAMEN (Fujian Province), ZHEJIANG PROVINCE.
Our extensive network of partner schools have all been vetted for legitimacy and accreditation and have a combined student body of over 5000+ young English learners.
CareerGo offers comprehensive and generous compensation packages for our teachers. You will have all the support needed to not only impart your knowledge as English teachers, but also explore and become immersed in Chinese culture!
Teaching responsibilities:
- Teach English 20-30 hours per week
- Class sizes vary from 30 to 60 students at all levels from Kindergarten to Adult Education
- Develop creative daily lesson plans, weekly unit plans, as well as student evaluations and tests using school-provided assistance and resources
- Collaborate with other teachers and teacher assistance teams to develop a balanced curriculum for students
- Monitor and communicate student progress to parents and school management through grade reports and conferences
- Establish and maintain an engaging and fun learning environment for students
Foreign teacher compensation and benefits package:
- Base pay of $2,500 to $4,000 based on experience
- Sponsored legal Chinese work visa (Z Class visa)
- Airfare allowance for relocating to China
- Airport pick-up
- Comprehensive medical and accident insurance
- Monthly rent or accommodations might be included in some placements
- Assistance for finding accommodation when not included in package
Minimum applicant requirements:
- Bachelor degree or in final year of undergraduate studies (Must attain Bachelors degree before placement)
- Passport holders of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
- Valid passport and must be able to obtain a criminal background check
