About the school:
It is a comprehensive education reform experimental school by the Beijing educational commission offering quality education to Grade 7-12 students. It aims to implement effective modern teaching practices, such as individual and collaborative learning as well as authentic assessment.
Positions: AP Maths teacher, (statistics) AP English teacher, AP physics teacher (can teach both physics and Math)
starting: September 2019

Responsibilities:
1Teaching a maximum of 26 classes /week; each class is 45minutes. The regular class size is capped at 24 students:
2. Offer courses and extracurricular activities to senior (grade10-12) students
3. Create a vibrant and inspiring learning environment for students
4. Ensure all students are able to thrive and engage in class, and give timely feedback and following up with them after class
5. Plan, design and develop teaching material and lessons that engage, inspire and challenge students to demonstrate their academic, athletic and creative potentials.
6. Actively participate in and contribute to the school’s cultural activities and teacher training.

Qualifications:
1.A bachelors degrees or above from the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, and other English-speaking countries, with an appropriate field of concentration.
2. At least 2 years of subject teaching experience (language teachers have a one-year requirement)
3.Recognition of the challenges of living abroad and of the international school workplace
4.Experience or interest in collaborative work in the classroom
5.A willingness to engage students outside the classroom
6. References should be available on request
7. Experience in giving workshops is preferred

Contract and salary:
Initial contracts are for one or two years.
The starting salary is based on work experience and educational background, All compensation is paid in Chinese Yuan(RMB)

Annual salary : 280000RMB/ year ,it is negotiable.
Teaching materials: The curriculum will be provided and the cost of teaching materials may be reimbursed.
Health insurance: Travelling package” a maximum allowance of RMB 14,000 per year”
International teachers orientation: We offer campus and community tours and we assist with arranging telephone internet and utilities.
Visa service: Assist with the application for a visa and work permit in China
Free housing: Each foreign teacher is provided with a furnished new apartment on campus. The school will pay the rent. Utilities are not included.
Vacation: Teachers enjoy summer&winter vacations, as well as national holidays.
