Overview

Fifth Wings is now recruiting for 1 English Teacher or Assistant Language Teachers (ALT), preferably with previous experience as an English Teacher to work in GUNMA for the school year October 2018 - October 2019. Applicants should be in Japan already or able to come to Japan ASAP.

The English teacher needs to be outgoing, flexible, open-minded, presentable, good with children, highly motivated to teach children, cheerful, enthusiastic, adaptive to life in a very different culture, polite and patient. You will be expected to teach students of all ages and levels, from kindergarten to adult classes, from beginners to advance.

5 DAYS / WEEK (Fridays and Sundays are off)

APPLICANTS MUST BE A NATIVE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES. USA or Canada.

FEMALE teachers encouraged to apply and preferred due to teaching little kids.

CONTRACT PERIOD: 1 year contract, starting October 2018 and ends October 2019.

SALARY: – per month before taxes. Salary to be paid on the 15th of each month.

RESIDENCE: Accommodation will be found for the applicant. Company will pay the key money, modern tidy apartment. Teacher pays monthly rent of ¥52000 - ¥55,000 plus utilities, gas and power.

WORKING HOURS: Schedule and hours vary throughout the week.
Teachers is required to work 5 days a week with plenty of breaks and relaxing time. Classes range between 45 minutes – 60 minutes.

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English to kindergarten - elementary school aged kids and adults.

Participate in and assist with extra-curricular activities. Assist with other duties specified by the supervisor or the school principal at your workplace.

VISA: Company will provide full sponsorship to applicant.

HOLIDAYS: All Japanese Calendar holidays are paid.
