CLASSROOM POSITIONS & ACTIVITY-BASED POSTS AVAILABLE
Two Styles of Programs - Classroom Teaching & Activity-based Teaching. Both are part of the state school system.
CLASSROOM POSITIONS
The Classroom teaching posts are similar to what you have likely experienced in your career. This is a GREAT place for teachers who want to put their classroom experience into practice. The focus is working in parallel with your school’s Taiwanese English teachers to provide a native speaker of English who can offer students intensive listening & speaking practice.

Classroom positions are in Taoyuan, a modern suburb of Taipei and the second largest in terms of population. Minutes from the mountains and the sea has a comprehensive, efficient and inexpensive mass transit system serving the whole metropolitan area.
In these posts you'll enjoy up to NT$40,000 (around US$1,300) air ticket reimbursement for your to-Taiwan flight, and then again up to NT$40,000 reimbursement for your return flight.
Plus, know that you’re helping children from every economic strata when you’re teaching in the public schools.
First-time teachers, retired teachers and teaching couples all welcome!
Positions starting from your arrival through July 31st, 2019 with annual renewal options available.
ACTIVITY-BASED: English Wonderland
The Wonderland Program is in Taipei, and also with the public schools. The Wonderland program is all activity-based. Learning through doing. Students spend three days and two nights (teachers do not stay the nights) in a specially-designed wing of the school campus.

At each location you can develop your own class – if you are a music teacher you could teach a music class. If you are an art teacher, you could teach art. Or, teach one of the existing subjects.
The Wonderland goal – use fun activities as a vehicle for comprehension. No mill and drill – get out of your seats, get outdoors! Let students learn English IN THE PROCESS OF DOING THINGS and having fun.

You’ll work with teams of from four to nine other native English-speaking licensed school teachers.
