Overview

Hi World Education has been operating for almost 2 years with 200 students to date. The school is modern with the latest technology. Our class sizes are small, 6 - 8 students per class to insure our students receive the best possible start. This is an ideal position for someone who doesn't have much experience teaching or who perhaps may feel intimidated by large class sizes.

The working week here is 5 days per week with 2 days off. The two days you choose will need to be Monday - Thursday. The hours Monday - Friday are 2pm -8pm (excluding your 2 days off). During the 6 hour day you will also be given a 1 1/2 hour dinner break (5pm - 6:30pm), with most classes taking place after 6:30pm (prior to that will be lesson planning etc).

Saturday and Sunday can alternate, but will usually be 6 hours as well (9am - 3pm or 2pm - 8pm), again with 1 1/2 hour lunch / dinner breaks. As stated previously weekends can alternate and you may be asked to come in early or stay later if classes need to be covered (which is not a common occurrence. Our class sizes are 6 - 8 students per class, ages range from 3 - 12.

At weekends (Fri - Sun) all meals will be provided for by the school from the local restaurants from around Yuxi.

This is the perfect position for anyone who wants to experience living in an authentic Chinese city, unlike many of the mega cities in China.

Our school is modern, less than 2 years old but since opening has been very popular in the city with a very good reputation. We have several foreign teachers already working here and would like to add 3 more as we expand. 
The school is located in Yuxi, a small city around 56 miles (90 Km) outside of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province. The city Yuxi itself is a city, although much smaller than the capital Kunming. It’s a very clean city which does have an expat community, albeit a small one, but none the less. We have plenty of wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. We also have several foreign restaurants in the city center (French, Italian etc). We also have plenty of shops, supermarkets plus a huge Walmart if you require anything you miss from home. Yuxi is a very modern city, with a spring like climate most the year round !

Salary and Benefits:

1.1000RMB-15000RMB per month depending on qualifications and experience.

What we require

1. Bachelor’s degree. 
2. TEFL/TESOL certificate. 
3. Native English speakers from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa. 
4.Teaching experience preferred but not required. 
5. Fluency in oral and written English. 
6.Energetic, friendly and hard working. 
7.Patient, enthusiastic and passionate in teaching young learners.

We also offer 1 weeks paid leave every three months plus all bank holidays (Chinese new year, Dragon boat festival, National day aka "Golden week" plus more), given our close proximity to Soth East Asia should give you the time to travel to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia our even just around China.

Finally, please note we will only accept those who are willing to obtain the legitimate Z work visa, we will not employ anyone on a tourist visa, student visa etc.
