Position Description

[Start Date August] 1 or Sep 1, 2018

[Teaching schedule] 8:00 am-5:20 pm, Monday – Friday.
Basic teaching hours: 14 hours(Contract-based Instructor)/10 hours (Contract Assistant Professor) per week, including evening hours

[Location] Hualien, Taiwan

[Duties]
1.Teaching EGP/ESP courses.
2.Supporting English teaching and administrative duties in the school.

[Salary] NT$58,135 (Contract-based Instructor)/ NT$71,500(Contract Assistant Professor) per month (extra pay for extra teaching hours if there are any.)

[Work permit] Provided by the school

[Requirements]
-Native English Speaker
-Transcripts
-Educational Level: MA in TESOL or English related fields for Contract-based Instructor / Ph.D. for Contract Assistant Professor
-CELTA (certificate of Language Teaching to Adults) or DELTA (Diploma of Language Teaching to Adults)

[Required Documents]
-Curriculum vitae in English
-Cover letter
-Proof of diploma and documents related to the position, or teacher’s certificate issued by the Ministry of Education, and authorized by TECO(Taipei Economy and Cultural Office)
-Two letters of recommendation
-Other relevant supporting materials such as student evaluations for the last two years, transcripts, and, if applicable, evidence of effective teaching.
