Aishitian Education is devoted to providing a quality curriculum for Chinese students using English as the language of instruction. Founded in 2007, Aishitian Education is now one of the most successful internationally-oriented learning centers in Qingdao, China.

We are currently delivering a Foundation English program at a modern and prestigious Chinese high school. This is a standard 4-skills type of program, and a textbook, teacher’s guide, audio materials, and assessments are provided. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards, and a desk in the English teachers’ office is provided.

The focus is improving overall English proficiency for 10th and 11th grade students. Entry tests are administered to ensure that students are capable of participating in the course. Standard record-keeping, lesson planning , and test administration are required.

Our home office is located in downtown Qingdao, only two blocks away from the ocean. The actual teaching location is in Chengyang, about 45 minutes from downtown Qingdao. The ideal candidate is a responsible and professional educator, capable of delivering the content and working with Chinese staff. Support personnel are on-site to facilitate cross-cultural communication, academic achievement, and practical issues. However, the candidate must be able to operate with a certain degree of independence. The position is best suited for someone seeking extensive interaction with Chinese students and staff.

3. Compensation Package: RMB 14,000 to 18,000 per month; meal allowance for school cafeteria is provided

4. Requirements: 
*Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the US 
*Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Preferred) 
*Ability to teach ESL listening, speaking, reading and writing.

6. Job Description: 
*20 teaching hours per week 
*4 office hours per week (completed in the office or the classroom) 
*Grading, lesson planning, and other teaching-related paperwork 
*Staff meetings, professional development activities
