About the Job

Overview

This is our 15th International English Summer Camp and we're looking for International Teachers to spend 9 days with our students to help them use as much English as possible and HAVE FUN while doing so!

Our students are Chinese Elementary School students ranging from 7 – 12 years old organized into classes based on their grades. We limit the class sizes to be around 20 and all International Teachers will be assisted by a Chinese teacher (assistant/camp counselor) and a college student helper.

The School Provides: 
* A base salary of 7500 RMB for new teachers, return teachers 8000 RMB 
* Accommodation either in the school's private apartments or in a nearby three star hotel (you will NOT share accommodation). 
* All meals provided in either the hotel or the school's cafeterias. 
* Assistance with transportation & a pick-up service to and from Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. (The bus will go to Shanghai on July 4th to pick up the teachers and send teachers back to the airport on July 16th 2018)

The School’s Employment Requirements: 
We are seeking dedicated people who have a passion for teaching children, are open minded, outgoing; have experience in teaching and good teaching skills. TEFL certified teachers are preferred, but other certifications will be considered.

Applicants should be native English speakers from either, Australia, the USA, the UK, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland. Applicants who are in China and/or have teaching experience are preferred.

Teachers who come from overseas are expected to arrive in Yangzhou on July 5th. A bus pick up from Shanghai Airport is provided for a pick up on July 4th. Teachers who are in China need to travel to school on their own and arrive in Yangzhou no later than July 5th. On Friday July 6th will be the day of in-service training and on July 7th camp students will arrive and the camp will officially start.
