Overview

Kenneth’s English School (KES) in Jilin City, Jilin province, China has several openings for qualified English teachers. The hiring/arrival period will be during the Spring and early Summer 2018. 
OUR SCHOOL OFFERS THE FOLLOWING:

Teacher will have a minimum of 42 and a maximum of 70 days’ vacation during the contract depending upon teacher’s schedule choices and class availability.School agrees to pay teacher an initial base salary of 8,000 RMB per month during probation. Probation lasts from 30 – 90 days depending upon teacher’s progress. After probation, teacher’s base wages will be 12,000 RMB with 22 hours each week. 
Teacher may earn more money by teaching profit-sharing classes or other teaching opportunities offered on a voluntary basis by the school. These extra classes combined with normal teaching can pay up to $20,000, or more, per month. 
School agrees to pay teacher 8,000 RMB airfare allowance upon completion of this one-year contract. This allowance is paid in cash. This allowance may not be prorated and there is no restriction upon how it is spent. This is paid if and only if teacher completes a full year contract. 
Teaching material is provided. 
School will provide teacher with furnished western style apartment. Teacher will not pay for the apartment lease. Teacher will pay for apartment utilities. 
School will provide limited medical benefits up to 600 RMB per month. 
Our holidays follow the Chinese holidays and will sometimes shift slightly in order to accommodate the availability of our students. Western holidays are subordinate to Chinese holidays and, if observed, may be observed on different dates than the actual holiday depending upon Chinese holiday schedules and the school academic schedule. 
Teacher will be paid a 3,000 RMB relocation bonus upon signing contract with school. 
Teacher will attend up to one hour staff/training meeting every other week. no office hours. 
Unshared, western style furnished apartment with hardwood/tile floors with unrestricted 24-hour access. 
Two consecutive days off each week. 
Upon your arrival at the school, we will pay the costs associated with processing your China physical exam and obtaining a fully legal working Visa (FRP) based on a valid Z Visa. Our school is SAFEA licensed to hire foreigners. 
An English-speaking FAO to assist you.

Requirements: 
Native speaker from United States and it’s territories, Canada, Australia, New Zealand,South Africa, Ireland and Great Britain.
