About the Job
Overview
We are situated in Wangjing, Beijing.
We follow the Korean national curriculum. However, the English department uses American and British
textbooks. We are recruiting elementary school teachers for grades 1-6 to start on August 21st, 2018.
We offer the following:
• A salary of 15,000 RMB per month for 20 teaching hours per week.
• A housing allowance of 7,000 RMB per month.
• Overtime pay is 210 RMB/40 minute class.
• Fully paid vacations – approximately 12 weeks in total.
• Entrance flight reimbursement up to US$ 800 for teachers recruited overseas.
• Private medical insurance.
• Monthly bonus for Master’s degree, teacher’s certification or Bachelors in English or education.
• Free school lunches.
• Work permit sponsorship (note that all costs in gaining the initial working visa before coming to China are the applicant’s responsibility)
• There is also opportunity to earn extra pay with our afterschool programs (currently 330 RMB/60 minute class) and winter/summer camps (currently 270 RMB/40minute class).
What we are looking for:
• must have a Bachelor’s degree and TEFL certification.
• must be able to provide a clean criminal record check.
• must have or be able to get their highest degree, TEFL certificate and criminal record notarized by a notary public and then apostilled by the Chinese Embassy.
• must be able to provide a certified health check.
• over 2 years teaching experience is desirable.
• must have a TEFL certificate.
• experience working with elementary school aged children and/or the Korean educational system.
