Overview
Amerlish is hiring teachers for Pre-K and up ASAP! Come join our team and help us mold a new generation of culturally literate and bilingual individuals. We teach with neutral American accents in an immersive environment, using our own proprietary curriculum, which focuses on literature and culture. Our goal is to create a strong foundation of English for our young learners, which will provide them with many opportunities to expand and grow.
Amerlish is also committed to creating a positive experience for all of its teachers. Our company is co-managed by a team of Americans who have lived in China for several years. For teachers coming to China for the first time, we are extremely qualified in anticipating the questions, concerns, and the potentially perplexing situations you may have. We are an American-style school and we work to maintain an environment and a standard similar to what you might experience in the US. Amerlish teachers are assigned their own classrooms and given a comfortable balance between structure and autonomy. Also, we are dedicated to smoothing the transition from the familiar comforts you enjoy at home to an exciting life here in the growing global city of Beijing.

We are looking for motivated individuals who:
- speak with a neutral North American accent
- have a bachelor’s degree (any subject)
- are at least 24 years old (required for a work visa in China)
- are TESOL or TEFL certified (preferred) (We'll help you get certified!)
Qualified teachers have the potential to earn 15,000 RMB to 21,000 RMB per month (salary + housing) (DOE).
