Overview
Aishitian Education is devoted to providing a quality curriculum for Chinese students using English as the language of instruction. Founded in 2007, Aishitian Education is now one of the most successful internationally-oriented learning centers in Qingdao, China.
We are currently delivering the Global Assessment Certificate (or GAC, a curriculum managed by AES, a subsidiary of ACT Inc.), which is a three-level college preparatory program designed for high school students planning to go abroad for undergraduate studies. Our program offers instruction in Academic English, Math, Science, Business and Computing. We emphasize study skills, critical thinking, experiential learning, and college-style assessments. When our students complete the program, we hope that they will not only have the skills to succeed at the university level, but to excel. 1. Job Title: Math (including calculus) & General Science Instructors
2. Job Location: Qingdao-Laoshan District
3. Compensation Package: RMB 22,000 to 25,000* per month (*this includes a monthly housing stipend, health insurance, relocation and performance-related bonuses*)
4. Requirements:
*Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the US
*Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Preferred)
*Ability to teach high school Calculus and/or General Science (including basic principles of Chemistry, Biology, Physics & Geology)
*Experience teaching content courses to English Language Learners
6. Job Description:
*20 teaching hours per week
*4 office hours per week (completed in the office or the classroom)
*Grading, lesson planning, and other teaching-related paperwork
*Staff meetings, professional development activities
