Dear Colleague in Education,
Over the past nine years, DISCOVER English Academy has worked diligently to provide high quality ESL education to students in Lucena, C�rdoba (Spain). Our academy has grown in 9 years from 75 students to well over 325 students. The success of our English program has led us to look for more qualified teachers for the up coming academic year, 2009-2010. As a result, we are looking for highly motivated teachers who are willing to work with dedication and enthusiasm. Our teachers must be self-reliant, communicative, and reliable.We offer classes to children (4 to 12 years old), teenagers and adults. Discover academy also has a Science department where we motivate students to learn about environmental studies, physics, mathematics and chemistry.Classes take place between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM, Monday though Friday. The school year begins in October and ends mid June. Christmas, Easter and local festivities are paid holidays.
BASIC INFORMATION
Salary: Starting at 1,200 �/ month PART-TIME (25 contact hours) plus full social security benefits and health insurance. Taxes are paid for by employer.
Employment Status: You will be considered a part-time teacher (25 hours/week)
Requirements: Applicants will need either a BA or MA in the following majors: Spanish, Linguistics, English or Bilingual Studies (ESL);TESOL certificate,minimum 2 years of teaching experience. Applicants must be native English speakers and fluent in Spanish with European citizenship.
