The Academia Lingüistica Internacional (www.aliacademia.it) is a
LanguageCentre founded in 2002 in Barletta, in the Apulia Region. The region of Apulia has a very good geographic position: it is within reach of many important airports, it is near Naples and not far from Rome,Pescara and other cities. From the airport of Bari and Pescara there are daily flights with Ryanair to London Stanstead.Our language Centre offers language
services and courses in different languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Chinese and Portuguese. Courses are usually held by mother tongue teachers who work alongside the Italian colleagues for lower levels. Additional to the normal teaching methods the teacher can use videos (owned by the school) and other resource material available at school. As resource books we use Oxford New Headway, Macmillan ed.,.Reward and Longman Matters. Our objective for all courses is that a competent level of spoken and written English is attained. The courses are diverse and are run for all age groups for primary school children and adults. The year long courses are organised as such : 90 hours for the six levels and 100 hours for the courses recognised by U.C.L.E.S (University of Cambridge Local ExaminationSyndicate).We hold commercial and business courses and we also provide translating and interpreting services for companies. We are a registered Trinity College centre for English exams as well as LCCIEB examination centre.
