EF English First Pamulang is a privately-owned franchise. We are located approximately 90 minutes from central Jakarta and our particular centre is young and growing fast. Our students are all Indonesian. Most students attend high school or university, but there are also growing numbers of young learners and conversational English groups. English levels range from beginner to advanced. Our school has a comprehensive language resource library and a computer room with up-to-date software. Each classroom is equipped with its own computer with internet access and computer-assisted teaching tools such as audio, video and power point presentations. Teachers are provided with a syllabus for each course, but are encouraged to adapt it to their individual teaching style and to their students' needs. Our classes meet at our centres in the afternoons and evenings from Monday to Friday. In Pamulang you will find a mix of cultures, traditions and people. It is quite modern and industrial in parts but if you explore the surrounds you will find everything you would expect from Indonesia.
Our schools are equipped with fully integrated computer labs and classroom CCU’s ( Class Companion Units ) which are constantly updated with English First original course and supplementary materials.
All applicants must have a TEFL/CELTA/TESOL (minimum 40 hours) and relevant degree or TEFL/CELTA/TESOL (minimum 40 hours) and two years TEFL/TESOL teaching experience and hold a passport from the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada or New Zealand.
